From the team

Warmer days and longer nights are coming and nothing says spring like weddings. Inside this issue of Mildura Living Magazine, you can read about a new Wedding and Debutante Expo that is scheduled for mid-September and to really get you in the swing of wedding season, our fashion pages are dedicated to all things bridal.

Amongst the pages of this issue, we share some of our region’s latest success stories. You can read about Hattah-Kulkyne National Park and find out why a Melbourne school, for many years, has been bringing lucky groups of their students north, for a camp that is designed to both challenge and inspire them.

You can also read about Mark ‘Speedy’ O’Donnell’s new business venture, the latest initiative from Don Carrazza and Jimmy Hadfield and a new medical service helping local people access preventative and early detection health care. We introduce you to the new owners of the Werrimull Hotel, which, buoyed by new ideas and a new menu, is attracting visitors from far and wide.

Many people around Mildura may have seen one of the houses we feature for spring, and wondered what hides under its steep, gabled roof. Arlington, after one-hundred and twelve years, is still owned by the same family, and in this issue, you can get a peek inside the home and learn its story.

Be inspired to get into the kitchen, with delicious recipes that make the most of our local produce, and if gardening is more your thing, we have another local garden, full of whimsy, to give you some ideas.

As always, thanks to all our readers, advertisers, and contributors for your support, we hope you enjoy this issue of Mildura Living Magazine.

There is so much happening in our region this spring – Lenny Kravitz anyone? – so many reasons to visit and even more reason to happily call it home.

A glossy, full colour, sophisticated lifestyle magazine showcasing the best of Mildura and the Sunraysia region. Published quarterly, inline with the seasons, Mildura Living magazine has a focus on style and aspirational living and will take pride of place on even the most discerning of coffee tables.
